On the beautiful island of Syros, Maria and Gregory built more than a workshop. They built a life devoted to terrazzo. United by love, craftsmanship, and an exceptional eye for detail, they spent their days surrounded by colors, patterns, tools, and laughter, transforming raw materials into timeless works of art.
Their terrazzo tiles were never just products. Each piece carried tradition, care, and soul. Working side by side from early morning until late at night, they created custom designs that brought beauty into homes and public spaces across the Aegean, from Syros to Paros, Naxos, Amorgos, Kimolos, Kythnos, and beyond.

As their work traveled from island to island, so did their reputation. Maria and Gregory became known not only for their exceptional craftsmanship, but also for their warmth and generosity. Every client was treated like family, every project handled with respect and genuine attention. They listened, they cared, and they always went the extra mile to ensure each creation felt personal and meaningful.
Today, their story lives on through our creations. Inspired by the original terrazzo tiles crafted in their workshop, we design contemporary pieces that honor their legacy. Each pattern tells a piece of their beautiful life, reimagined in objects meant to be part of everyday living, now and in the future.
To this day, we wish the people of Syros, and in Cyclades in general, to remember Maria and Gregory as the couple who turned their love for terrazzo tile making into a masterpiece of a life. Their story continues to inspire aspiring artisans, reminding them that with passion, hard work, and a little bit of magic, dreams can indeed come true.

A legacy begins
In a quiet neighborhood in Athens, when Grigoris first discovered his love for handmade tiles. He learned the craft from neighbors and local artisans who shared their knowledge with open hands and hearts.
Passing the torch
He had opened his own workshop in Piraeus, where he created mosaics and tiles with a style that blended tradition and soul.
A new vision
His reputation led him to the Cyclades, where his tiles were in high demand for homes and courtyards kissed by the Aegean sun.
Expanding horizons
Grigoris and his wife Maria settled in Syros. There, they opened their own store and spent their days shaping memories into clay, side by side—creating vibrant mosaics that echoed the patterns of Greek life.
Aegean recognition
Grigoris traveled often to Paros, Naxos, and Amorgos, spending seasons working the earth, firing the kilns, and bringing his designs to life in island homes and spaces that welcomed his art.
Continuing the legacy
Grigoris passed away in 2023. But the story didn’t end there. I, his granddaughter, began tracing his steps, collecting his pieces, and uncovering the soul in his craft. From that journey, Grego’s was born:
